Unlike most existing gauge valves, the SGV blow-out proof stem design is also back seating for servicing. The SGV is designed for simple maintenance with wrench flats on the valve body and a seal cap that is easily removed via fingers or a wrench. It is designed with long-lasting stainless to stainless seating to guaranteed tightness, and has been approved for compatibility with all common refrigerants including ammonia, CO2, and secondary refrigerants
